HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT US

WE'RE MEGAN & ALEC

We are anything but your traditional couple, here's why.  We met, fell in love, moved in together, got engaged and then got married. Sounds pretty standard right?! Oh but did we mention the part where that all happened in a matter of 67 days. That's right, it took us no time at all to realize we were the perfect fit for one another, and we so hope you feel the same when you hire us for all of your wild adventures, love stories and unseen moments. We are parents to 4 amazing kids, we have a mini farm right here at home which includes a total of 10 animals that are just like children to us. 

Our love for creating photographic art and love for real and raw human connection was effortlessly merged into something beautiful when Alec and I decided to become a team. Not only in life, but in business. We understand that there are a lot of insanely talented photographers and videographers out there but what makes us different is the way we photograph and process your final images and films. We do not stick to one trending style and assume every image should look the same, because no two couples are the same, and your story is unlike any other, so our work quite simply put is curated to you with how things actually felt, with our own signature style as just one piece of the puzzle, but not the entire puzzle itself. You in fact are what motivates and inspires us and our work.

We want you to come as you are, the you that others see when they view an ageless photograph of you, the you they hear when your laughter reminds them of a moment of pure joy. We want your photographs and films to ignite all of your senses all while pulling your heartstrings. 

We are here to document your stories, your truth, your moments, in a way that creates not only beautiful imagery and astounding films, but bottles up the unpolished moments that make you feel. We have a no bullshit approach to every single thing we do in life and that does not stop with our Photography & Videography, we are real humans with our own very real story of love and heartache and underneath it all we are honest and want to embark on this journey and invest in your memories just like you are choosing to invest in us. When Beyond the Pines Photography was created we knew we were going to share in some of the most beautiful minutes of life with so many incredible people. The weight of our work is often heavy knowing that a fleeting moment we have preserved was someone's last, but we wouldn’t change our love for what we do for anything. We want you to remember the way that your lovers hair blew in the wind while you read your most sacred vows on your wedding day, the way that your child's dimpled little fingers curled around yours during story time, the smile lines you see in your reflection that instantly remind you of your Mother, the tears that flow through you during your first dance with your Father during the reception. Life is a precious and beautiful thing, but in a blink it changes, this is our way of stopping time for you, for even just a breath.
